Love on Slow Release grew out of these Mary Oliver lines:
How many kinds of love might
there be in the world,
and how many formations
might they make
and who am I ever
to imagine I could know
such a marvellous business…
I, Bruno Lettieri, teacher, interviewer, builder of community projects, and like you, lover of poetry and letters and conversation and slow walking, hope that this modest website might have a little gumption in trying to gather in a single space – or ‘garden’ – some of those formations: through poetry, through testimony, through lens of camera and lens of words, that explore with gentle soft focus the uncommon places and ‘formations’ that lie beyond and between our more familiar glares.
You are invited to amble through these slow released poems and pieces and testimony and photographs. You are invited to loiter without intent. Perhaps our understanding of love in our living is released or found slowly too.
